As of January 18, 2022, the provincial government set the price of electricity at a fixed off-peak rate of 8.2¢ per kWh for all customers paying Time-of-Use (TOU) and Tiered rates under the Regulated Price Plan (RPP). To support Ontarians, this lower rate will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week until end of day on February 7, 2022.
This rate relief is intended to support residential and small business customers while the province is in modified Step Two of the Roadmap to Reopen.
